IE’s blended methodology consists of combining short, but intense, face-to-face periods with interactive online periods, which allows cross-cultural teams to work on global projects regardless of their geographic location.
Interactive online periods consist of bi-weekly live video-conferences, master classes taught by high-level lecturers, and work in the virtual campus that runs actively 24/7.
Complementing these online forum discussions, participants work with a variety of digital distance learning tools from video conferencing to online documents VoIP.
+Sports Management kicks off with a short residential period in London. To ensure a 360º view of the sports industry, students visit the most relevant companies in the sector, where they get to interact and network with top executives, and attend a series of conferences on the latest challenges and opportunities in the industry.
During this period of interactive online learning, students are able to study from anywhere in the world and follow the program regardless of their geographic location, travel schedules and work commitments. This allows, allowing them to implement immediately in their workplace the new knowledge and skills they are learning.
The 2nd face-to-face period is held at IE’s urban campus in Madrid. This is the last official get-together of the +Sports Management class, where students will have to present their final group project presentation to the panel.
To strengthen the link with the real world, the first face-to face period will be held in London, amid the world’s largest conglomeration of sports companies. During the face-to-face week, students will have the possibility to enlarge their network and, to ensure a 360º view of the industry, will visit some of the most relevant companies in the sector. There they will get to interact and network with top executives and attend a series of conferences on the latest challenges and opportunities in the industry.
